Skill 2 : Never underestimate the power of evil.

Never underestimate the power of evil, because it has more willing supporters than good. Because it rewards its minions lavishly whereas supporters of good are almost certain about living on the things the minions or other powers can’t steal. Sometimes that’s too little! So no wonder people merrily choose evil as their leader. So whether you like it or not, believe it or not, human beings support, follow evil in multitudes, those who pick up honest means are far rarer.

If you live your life believing in the stories repeated in a time long gone, when most probably it was true-that truth wins, goodness wins, righteous win then you are most probably acting like the ostrich. You know, the one that dips its head in a burrow of sand and pretends he is safe from dangers. The world around him is cool!

He may be lucky- by sheer dumb luck his assumptions may be true, or he may get killed, never even knowing what killed him.

You will be just like him, surrounded by your own make-beliefs of what things are, in reality things are absolutely different, all you have done is closed your mind, that keeps telling you that things are not what you think they are! You have convinced yourself that if you are good, honest evil will never be able to harm you, if you are benevolent, kind, loving no one will harm you… etc. etc…. If only things were that way in reality! If you deny or ignore evil that does not means it will return the courtesy! It never does! Sometimes it just misses the targets.

Just like Vishnusharma (author of Panchatantra) said thousands of years ago, “Evil hates virtue!” it does hates virtue and merrily ruins it whenever it can! When it will strike you, you won’t even see it coming most probably if you under-estimate its grip and power on/in human society.

There is nothing wrong in being good, honest but don’t be blind, a prey in a predatory world survives only through his survival instincts and a solid dose of luck. Keep that in mind.
